  • 4 large Russet potatoes (about 2 lbs)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the Russet potatoes, then cut them into uniform sticks about ¼ inch thick.
  2. Soak the potato sticks in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Drain and dry the potatoes thoroughly with paper towels. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and half of the Parmesan cheese until well-coated.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the seasoned fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  6. Once done, transfer fries to a bowl while hot and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese. Toss gently and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
