- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tbsp chili sauce (adjust to taste)
- Oil for frying
- 2 spring onions (finely chopped for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Prepare the Cauliflower: Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Pat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Create the Batter: In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and enough water to create a thick batter.
- 3. Coat the Cauliflower: Dip each floret into the batter and shake off excess.
- 4. Fry Until Golden: Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Fry coated florets in batches until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
- 5. Make the Sauce: In another pan, heat oil over medium heat, sauté garlic and ginger, then add soy sauce and chili sauce.
- 6. Combine Everything: Toss fried cauliflower in sauce until well-coated. Serve hot garnished with spring onions.
