Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Scoop rounded balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Press a chocolate kiss or candy egg into each cookie while warm.
- Cool on wire racks before serving.
