Description

Easter Blossom Cookies are colorful, chewy delights topped with chocolate. These festive treats are perfect for sharing and will bring joy to your spring celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chocolate Kisses or candy-coated chocolate eggs (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Press a chocolate kiss or candy egg into each cookie while warm.
  7. Cool on wire racks before serving.
