- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
- 2 tbsp fresh dill or mint, chopped
Instructions
- 1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper. Coat chicken breasts well and marinate for at least 1 hour in the fridge.
- 2. Prepare the Tzatziki: Combine Greek yogurt, crumbled feta cheese, grated cucumber (squeeze out excess water), dill or mint, salt, and pepper in another bowl. Chill in the fridge.
- 3. Grill the Chicken: Preheat grill on medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 6–7 minutes per side until cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
- 4. Warm Pita Bread: Heat pita on the grill or in a pan until soft.
- 5. Assemble: Slice grilled chicken thinly and place it in pita bread with tzatziki sauce.
- 6. Serve: Enjoy with extra tzatziki and fresh veggies on the side.
