Description

Hearty Beef-Stuffed Pasta Shells are a comforting family favorite, filled with seasoned ground beef, creamy ricotta, and gooey cheese—a perfect dish for cozy nights together.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef; cook until browned (7-10 minutes). Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, herbs, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stuff each pasta shell with the beef mixture followed by the ricotta blend.
  7. Place shells in a greased baking dish. Pour remaining marinara sauce over shells and top with remaining mozzarella.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
