  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brewed espresso coffee, cooled
  • 1 package (7 oz) ladyfingers
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese and sugar until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks. Gently fold in vanilla extract.
  3. Combine whipped cream with the mascarpone mixture until well blended.
  4. Dip ladyfingers in the cooled espresso for a few seconds; layer them at the bottom of serving cups.
  5. Spoon a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers; repeat layers until cups are full.
  6. Dust with cocoa powder and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
