Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh spinach
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash spinach thoroughly under cold water, drain well.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until foamy. Add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
  3. Add spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low and gradually stir in heavy cream. Allow it to simmer gently for 5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Mix in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir continuously until fully combined and melted.
  6. Remove from heat and let sit for a few minutes before serving.
