  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  1. Sauté onion and garlic in melted butter over medium heat until soft.
  2. Stir in tomato paste and cook for two minutes.
  3. Add fish stock and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add shrimp; cook until pink (about three minutes). Fold in crab meat gently.
  5. Lower heat; stir in heavy cream and simmer for five minutes.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and bay leaves. Remove bay leaves before serving.
