  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk (can substitute with almond milk)
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth. Combine with dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Divide batter between pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for ten minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  5. For frosting, beat butter and cream cheese until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and fold in crushed Oreos.
  6. Assemble the cake by layering frosting between cooled cake layers and covering the top and sides with the remaining frosting.
