- 6 sheets phyllo dough
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/2 cup honey (plus extra for drizzle)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- Layer three sheets of phyllo dough in the pan, brushing each with melted butter. Repeat twice more to create a total of six layers.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, tahini, lemon juice, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture over the phyllo layers.
- Top with another six layered sheets of phyllo, brushing each with butter.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
- While warm, drizzle additional honey over the top and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
