Ingredients

  • 6 sheets phyllo dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup honey (plus extra for drizzle)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. Layer three sheets of phyllo dough in the pan, brushing each with melted butter. Repeat twice more to create a total of six layers.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, tahini, lemon juice, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the phyllo layers.
  5. Top with another six layered sheets of phyllo, brushing each with butter.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
  7. While warm, drizzle additional honey over the top and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
