Description

  • 1 cup strong brewed espresso (cooled)
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Brew one cup of strong espresso and let it cool. Pour it into a shallow dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Quickly dip each ladyfinger in the cooled espresso and place them in a single layer in your serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Repeat layering with another layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight for optimal flavor.
  7. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder using a fine sieve.
