  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Chop chicken into bite-sized pieces and cut broccoli into small florets.
  2. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente; reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté chicken seasoned with salt and pepper until golden brown (6-8 minutes).
  4. Add broccoli to the skillet and sauté for an additional 3 minutes until bright green.
  5. Pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously, then gradually add Parmesan cheese and garlic powder; simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  6. Combine drained pasta with the chicken and broccoli mixture, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
