  4. Gradually fold in the dry mixture alternating with milk until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  5. Divide the batter between prepared pans and bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For the ganache, heat heavy cream until simmering, pour over chocolate chips, let sit for five minutes, then stir until smooth.
  7. Cool cakes completely before drizzling with ganache.
