  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Arrange marinated salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of at least 145°F (63°C).
  6. While cooking, simmer reserved marinade in a small saucepan over medium heat until thickened (about 5 minutes). Drizzle over cooked salmon.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
