- 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar

- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk or cream
Instructions
- Warm milk in a saucepan until just warm. In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Stir in melted butter, salt, and half of the flour. Gradually add remaining flour until a soft dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled.
- Mix chopped apples with sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread softened butter and sprinkle apple filling evenly.
- Roll tightly into a log, slice into 12 pieces, place in a greased baking dish, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
