Description

Apple Dumplings are a delightful dessert that perfectly captures the essence of fall. These sweet treats feature tender apples wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough, infused with cinnamon and sugar. Baked until golden brown, they are best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, making them an irresistible addition to family gatherings or cozy evenings at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples (cored and cut into wedges)
  • 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, toss apple wedges with sugar and cinnamon until evenly coated.
  3. Roll out the crescent roll dough; place an apple wedge at the wide end of each triangle and roll up tightly, tucking in the sides.
  4. Arrange dumplings seam-side down in the baking dish and drizzle melted butter over the top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Serve warm with ice cream.
