Description

Baked Chicken Ricotta Meatballs are a delightful twist on a classic favorite, combining lean ground chicken with creamy ricotta for a flavorful and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, ricotta, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs approximately two inches in diameter and place them in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Pour marinara sauce generously over the meatballs.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C). Let rest for five minutes before serving.
