  • 1 cup Pecans (chopped)
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream

Instructions

  1. 1. Activate the yeast: Warm milk to lukewarm, stir in yeast and sugar. Let sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. 2. Prepare the dough: In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, melted butter, and cinnamon. Add the yeast mixture and combine until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Let it rise: Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  4. 4. Make the caramel topping: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt brown sugar, heavy cream, and butter until bubbly.
  5. 5. Shape the buns: Roll out risen dough into a rectangle. Spread melted butter over it and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and pecans before rolling into a log.
