  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (diced)
  • 8 oz thinly sliced deli ham
  • 8 oz Swiss cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season diced chicken with salt and pepper and cook until golden brown, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and Italian seasoning; let simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in Swiss cheese and ham until melted and creamy. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if necessary.
  6. Toss cooked penne into the sauce until well coated. Serve hot topped with grated Parmesan.
