- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with juices
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Stir in diced tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Lower heat and gradually add heavy cream, stirring until slightly thickened (about 5 minutes). Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Combine cooked pasta with the sauce and stir in Parmesan until well mixed.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan and fresh basil.
