  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup pure honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In one bowl, mix cornstarch with salt and pepper. In another bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and brown sugar.
  4. Coat each chicken breast in the cornstarch mixture first, then dip into the honey-soy mixture until fully covered.
  5. Place the coated chicken in the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. While baking, heat any leftover marinade until thickened for drizzling.
