Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup pecans (roughly chopped)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Gradually add the flour and mix until combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Drizzle caramel sauce over the baked crust and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
  5. Melt chocolate chips in intervals in the microwave, then pour over the pecan-caramel layer.
  6. Allow to cool completely before refrigerating for one hour. Cut into squares and serve.
