  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup eggnog (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. In another bowl, mix eggnog, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until combined; then blend into dry ingredients until just mixed.
  3. For the swirl filling, combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle half of the swirl mixture over it. Top with remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining swirl mixture.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. While cooling, whisk together powdered sugar and milk for the glaze; drizzle over the warm cake before serving.
