  • 8 oz cream cheese (full-fat)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  2. Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the cheesecake mixture and roll into balls.
  4. Coat each ball in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, and roll in panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pot to about 350°F (175°C). Fry the balls until golden brown, approximately 3-4 minutes.
