  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp espresso powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the cocoa powder until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in granulated sugar and brown sugar. Allow to cool slightly before adding eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, espresso powder, hazelnuts, and salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet batter until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
