Description

  • 1 pre-made pie crust (or homemade)
  • 2 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Honeycrisp apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced apples with cinnamon, sugar, and lemon juice until well-coated.
  3. Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface and cut into 5-inch circles.
  4. Place apple filling in the center of each circle. Fold over to form half-moon shapes and seal edges with a fork.
  5. Brush tops with egg wash for color.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
