  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1 cup brewed Earl Grey tea (cooled)
  • Zest of 1 lemon or orange
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  2. Brew one cup of strong Earl Grey tea and let it cool.
  3. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  4. Sift together flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the butter mixture, alternating with milk until just combined.
  5. Stir in cooled tea, zest, and vanilla until incorporated.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
