Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Mix eggs and softened butter into the yeast mixture, then stir in pumpkin puree.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until a dough forms; knead on a floured surface for around 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread softened butter over it, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, then roll tightly and cut into pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish; let them rise again while preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm with cream cheese icing.
