  • 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp pumpkin spice blend
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat; let cool slightly.
  3. Stir in brown sugar and granulated sugar until combined, then add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, sift together flour, pumpkin spice blend, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  6. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden and center is set but soft.
