  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 150g each)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 200g fresh mushrooms (button or cremini), sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare your station by setting up three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs.
  2. Pound the pork chops to about 1/4 inch thick between two sheets of plastic wrap.
  3. Dredge each chop in flour, then dip in egg wash, and coat in breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the breaded chops until golden brown on both sides.
  5. In another pan, sauté onions and garlic until translucent, then add mushrooms until tender.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and let simmer until thickened; season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve schnitzels topped with creamy mushroom sauce and garnish with parsley.
