  • 6 large croissants, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Layer half of the croissant pieces in the baking dish followed by half of the sausage. Pour half of the egg mixture over them and sprinkle half the cheese on top. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set in the middle. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
