Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless pork shoulder
  • 8 slices sliced ham
  • 8 oz Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 8 pretzel slider buns
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from the pork shoulder and season generously with garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Slice the pretzel buns in half while keeping them attached at the back. Spread yellow mustard on each half.
  3. Place the seasoned pork shoulder in the slow cooker and pour pineapple juice over it. Layer sliced ham on top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours until the pork is tender.
  5. Shred the pork using two forks and spoon it onto each bun half. Top with Swiss cheese and place the top bun back on.
  6. Serve immediately or broil for 5 minutes at 350°F for melty perfection.
