- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, and black pepper until smooth.
- Add chicken breasts to the marinade and coat well. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F or 190°C).
- Remove chicken from marinade (reserve marinade) and place on grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Brush additional sweet chili sauce on chicken in the last few minutes of grilling.
- Transfer grilled chicken to a platter and let rest for five minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with rice or salad.
