  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed Vegan Oreos (plus extra for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix almond milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Combine with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Fold in half of the crushed Vegan Oreos.
  5. Divide batter between pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool cakes in the pans for ten minutes before transferring to wire racks. Once cooled, layer with vegan frosting and additional crushed Oreos.
