  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium sweet onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the onion, mincing the garlic, and breaking the cauliflower into florets.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet to rest.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions until translucent, then add garlic; cook until fragrant (about one minute).
  4. Add cauliflower florets; sauté for about five minutes until slightly softened.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened. Season with salt and pepper if needed.
  6. Slice rested steak against the grain and fold into the creamy mixture. Serve warm.
