- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
- Brown the beef chuck roast in a skillet over medium-high heat until seared on all sides (about 4-5 minutes per side).
- Place the browned beef in the slow cooker along with chopped onions, sliced mushrooms, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika.
- Pour enough beef broth to cover the ingredients slightly.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the meat is fork-tender.
- Stir in sour cream about 30 minutes before serving to create a creamy sauce.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
