Description

Spicy Shrimp & Avocado Phyllo Cups are a flavor-packed appetizer that combines crispy phyllo with zesty shrimp and creamy avocado. Perfect for parties or gatherings!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 8 sheets phyllo dough
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté shrimp seasoned with chili powder and cumin until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Mash avocados in a bowl, add lime juice, and season with salt.
  4. Layer 3-4 sheets of phyllo dough, cut into squares, in muffin tins to form cups.
  5. Fill each cup with mashed avocado followed by sautéed shrimp.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
