Instructions
- Slice fresh jalapenos into rings, keeping seeds for extra heat if desired.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine water, sugar, vinegar, garlic, and pickling spice. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Add sliced jalapenos to the bubbling brine and simmer for 5-10 minutes until they become glossy.
- Remove from heat; allow to cool in the pot for 30 minutes.
- Transfer jalapenos and syrup to sterilized jars while warm and seal tightly.
