Description

Walking Tacos are a deliciously fun twist on traditional tacos, served in bags for easy enjoyment at parties and gatherings. Customize with your favorite toppings for a delightful experience!


Ingredients

  • 1 bag (8 oz) tortilla chips
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (about 1 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 2 cups chopped lettuce (romaine recommended)
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup salsa or hot sauce
  • 1 ripe avocado or ½ cup guacamole (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 7-10 minutes.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and water as per package instructions; simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Open small bags of tortilla chips and spoon in the seasoned meat mixture.
  4. Top each bag with shredded cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, salsa, and avocado as desired.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
