Method
Prepare the Muffin Batter
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, and beaten eggs. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Add Chocolate Chips and Bake
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
- Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Enjoy your chocolate chip muffins warm or at room temperature!
