Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 package chocolate sandwich cookies crushed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 packages instant chocolate pudding mix 3.9 ounces each
  • 3 cups whipped topping
For the Topping
  • 1 cup gummy worms
  • 1 cup chocolate sprinkles

Method
 

Prepare the Base
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until well combined.
  3. Set aside the mixture.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and chocolate pudding mix until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  5. Gently fold in the remaining 2 cups of whipped topping into the pudding mixture.
Assemble the Casserole
  1. In a large casserole dish, layer half of the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies on the bottom.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie layer.
  3. Next, layer the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Top with the remaining crushed cookies.
Add Toppings
  1. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the top of the casserole.
  2. Garnish with gummy worms and chocolate sprinkles to resemble dirt.
Chill and Serve
  1. Cover the casserole with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  2. Serve chilled and enjoy the festive treat!
