Prepare the Base
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until well combined.
- Set aside the mixture.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk and chocolate pudding mix until thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Gently fold in the remaining 2 cups of whipped topping into the pudding mixture.
Assemble the Casserole
- In a large casserole dish, layer half of the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies on the bottom.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie layer.
- Next, layer the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with the remaining crushed cookies.
Add Toppings
- Spread the remaining whipped topping over the top of the casserole.
- Garnish with gummy worms and chocolate sprinkles to resemble dirt.
Chill and Serve
- Cover the casserole with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
