Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For Serving
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
Cook the Chicken
  1. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the breaded chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  3. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake the chicken for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Serve
  1. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
