Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 4 cups broccoli florets fresh
  • 1 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup carrots shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
For the Dressing
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
For the Toppings
  • 1/2 cup bacon bits cooked
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, red onion, carrots, and cheddar cheese.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss to combine evenly.
  4. Refrigerate the salad for at least 10 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle the bacon bits and sunflower seeds on top.
